Relitto di Molara
Almost a mile away from the south slopes of Molara and nestling on a white sandy bottom lies, 39mt deep, a shipwreck considered unknown for years. With a mixed structure of wood and steel, over 70mt of hull length are left. The dive, obviously into the blue, is extraordinary both for the wreck’s peculiarities (this is basically naval archeology) and the transparency of the water; the intersection between the palings, the thousands of nuts and bolts which held the plating together, parts of the torpedoed bow crumpled on the bottom and the countless fragments scattered around the hull itself resemble an ideal habitat for countless species.
