Scuba Diver/Junior Scuba Diver – 12m
The Scuba Diver Course, of which the Scuba Experience programme is the first part, is the fastest way to become a diver.
With the international ‘Scuba Diver’ licence you can dive anywhere in the world, as long as you are accompanied by a diving professional and within a depth of 12 metres (40 feet).

Advanced Open Water – 30m
This course is the second level of training where you will learn how to handle some special activities, such as exploring deeper and navigating on the bottom, with and without a compass. You will also learn how to search for and recover objects, dive in currents, on wrecks, in low visibility conditions and at night. Your international licence entitles you to dive with a buddy to a depth of 30 metres (100 feet).

Deep Diver – 40m età minima 15 anni
Although the Advanced Open Water course opens many door towards diving opportunities, the deeper can be an irresistible call. If you wish to venture deeper you can attend the Deep Diver course. At the end of the training you will be able to dive within 40 meters (130 feet) and the safety curve with a buddy, which is the highest depth a recreational diver is allowed to explore.

Nitrox (EANx) Diver – Junior Nitrox (EANx) Diver
The course is a PSS specialty for autonomous divers who want to safely use the nitrox blends and it can be done at the same time with any other recreational course. At the end of the didactics the Nitrox (EANx) Diver can plan, do and register nitrox blend dives within the safety curve and the maximum partial pressure of the oxygen must not exceed 160 kPa (1,6 bar/1,6 ata).
Furthermore the PSS Nitrox (EANx) Diver can get nitrox blends and other related services necessary to perform recreational dives on his own without any professional supervision. The oxygen percentage in the nitrox blend must be between 21% and 40%.

First Aid + CPR
The “First Aid – CPR” course is the first step towards valid and specific first-aid training. What the PSS Emergency division offers you in addition is the practical application of general notions to the themes of water rescue. The PSS “First Aid – C.P.R.” certification is in fact a compulsory requirement for acquiring rescue qualifications in other PSS training divisions.

Oxygen in Diving Emergency
It is now well known that in most diving emergencies, as in all cases of decompression accidents, the first aid is the administration of normobaric oxygen. Only those who are specifically trained can act with maximum efficiency and competence. The Emergency division of PSS Worldwide has therefore created a complete training course in this field, thanks to which you will learn how to use numerous oxygen devices: on demand and continuous flow, low, medium or high concentration, etc.

Rescue Diver
The Scuba Rescue Diver Course is one of the best tools for preparing you to deal with underwater emergencies. However in the PSS teaching system there are two other courses dedicated to rescue: “First Aid – C.P.R.” and “Oxygen in Diving Emergency”. The first is of general application, while the second deals with the administration of normobaric oxygen to injured divers. These three courses are therefore complementary and designed to deal “in toto” with all possible scenarios of a diving emergency.
